Finding UX Insights

I’ve been trying to figure out why I get so frustrated with certain apps when I’m out and about. Like, I’ll be standing in line for groceries and an app that feels fine on my laptop suddenly feels impossible to use on my phone. It’s like my brain switches modes and I just don't have the patience for any extra steps. Where do you guys usually go to find decent explanations for why our experience changes so much between devices?

Honestly, I’ve had the exact same realization while commuting. On my desktop, I’m okay with deep diving into complex menus, but on my phone, everything needs to be instant and effortless because I’m usually distracted by a dozen other things. It’s definitely changed how I organize my own phone layout lately to keep things way more streamlined and less cluttered.
