Tai Chi is now at the Tuscaloosa YMCA!

Tai Chi is a type of low-impact, weight-bearing, and aerobic – yet relaxing – exercise that began as a martial art. 
Practiced in a variety of styles, Tai Chi involves slow, gentle movements, deep breathing, and meditation.
This exercise program is easy to follow for seniors and all fitness levels. Enjoy increased confidence and reduced stress; gain strength, flexibility, and balance as you experience Tai Chi.

This class is now available to all members as a group fitness class!

Beginning January 14th, we will offer Tai Chi 1 (beginners) and Tai Chi 2 (advanced)!

Mondays 10-11 — Tai Chi 1

Thursdays 10-11 — Tai Chi 2

*Members are encouraged to begin this Tai Chi session (beginning January 14th) during the first lesson, as elements from each class will be used in the next.

Passes are available at the front desk 20 minutes prior to each class. Passes are limited so that each member has a sufficient amount of space to perform.
